The successful candidate must possess a particular talent for concise, audience-targeted writing and a high comfort level with cross team collaboration. The candidate must be able to work independently by tracking and modifying their documentation to align with tool release cycle.
Responsibilities:

Edit existing documentation to improve readability and developer experience
-
Collaborate with SMEs (product managers and developers) on a regular basis to gather information, write new documentation and make edits

Refine existing processes to establish an excellent publication workflow

Mentors other technical writers and potential off-shore teams
Qualifications:
-
Bachelor’s degree in communication, marketing, or similar related field preferred
-
5 years experience writing technical documentation
-
2 years experience with VCS (Git)
-
Experience documenting APIs, using: OpenAPI, Postman
-
Experience with IoT hardware a plus (for example, Raspberry Pi)

Excellent writing skills: Great grammar, Clear, concise, professional voice

Proven ability to collaborate well in a remote-first environment

At least 18 years of age

Legally authorized to work in the United States

Colorado Pay Range: $83,900.00 – $113,500.00
New York Pay Range: $87,900.00 – 118,900.00
Washington Pay Range: $87,100.00 – $117,800.00
